Who we are
Hi my name is Curt, and I am the founder of my-guy.ca. I am a 63-year old professional male with too much spare time on my hands, so I thought I would create something good for the community. It's my way of keeping busy, and making a few dollars. The areas my-guy will service will continue to grow as I find trusted people who want to serve their community. By all means, if you are interested in being a my-guy helper, please let me know.
What's with our name
The name "my-guy" is simply an expression, it is not intended to be gender identification. It comes from the saying, I got a guy to do that. But, rest assured the plan is to have several my-gals too.
The "My-Guy" experience is about celebrating everyday neighbourhood heroes — people who step up to make life a little easier. Your My-Guy helper isn’t a stranger; they’re someone from your own community, ready to lend a hand when you need it most. Whether it’s a quick grocery run, house watch, or help around the home, they show up with reliability, friendliness, and pride. My-Guys believe in neighbourly care, honest effort, and making small moments matter. They’re the heartbeat of the community — helping, connecting, and reminding us that heroes don’t wear capes… sometimes, they just carry groceries, walk a dog or lend a friendly ear! My-Guy helpers typically live within minutes of your home.
NOTE: It is a requirement that all My-Guy helpers have up-to-date police checks. We will also ask for several personal references and trusted referrals are key too.

The services offered in each my-guy territory are based on what the my-guy help can and chooses to offer. Clearly if they don't have a truck or trailer they won't be offering junk removal. The services offered will be the decision of the person in charge of that territory.

With My-Guy Home Watch, you can enjoy your time away without worrying about what’s happening back home. Most houses don’t need someone to stay overnight — just two friendly daily visits to make sure everything’s in order.
Your My-Guy will check doors and windows, bring in mail and packages, water plants, feed pets, and make sure your home looks lived-in and secure. Whether you’re away for a weekend getaway or an extended trip, you’ll return to find your home safe, cared for, and exactly as you left it — only a little more loved.

Junk Removal
Need that old stuff gone? Your My-Guy Junk Removal team makes it easy! Whether it’s furniture, yard waste, or renovation debris, your friendly My-Guy shows up on time with a truck, van, or trailer ready to haul it all away. We load, sweep up, and leave your space spotless. Fast, affordable, and neighbour-friendly—because helping you get the little things done is what My-Guy.ca is all about!
